What It Takes Before a Hair Oil Earns a Place in Our Lineup
A lot of hair oils promise shine and softness. Fewer actually deliver both without leaving hair looking weighed down or greasy by the end of the day.
That is the bar we are holding Ranch Radiance, the hair oil we are currently developing, to. It is not enough for an oil to feel good in a swatch test. It has to hold up through a full day, add real shine and smoothness, and disappear into the hair instead of sitting on top of it.
Right now, that means testing different formulation approaches side by side, comparing results, and being willing to say a version is not there yet instead of shipping it anyway. We are not going to call something finished just because it is close.
We are not making performance claims about Ranch Radiance yet, because it is not finished. What we can tell you is what we are testing for, and that we would rather take longer than ship something that does not hold up.
